About us

At Kids Kingdom Learning, we’re more than just a place to learn—we’re a welcoming community where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. We offer long day care from ages 6 weeks to 6 years, as well as engaging three and four-year-old kindergarten programs designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in every child.

Our purpose-built facilities, experienced educators, and friendly environment create the perfect setting for young learners to thrive. Located in the heart of Sydenham, next to Watergardens town centre and train station, we’re easily accessible for local families.

We understand that kindergarten is a crucial step in your child’s development. It’s where they begin to explore their independence, build social connections, and lay the groundwork for future learning success.

Monthly excursions

At Kids Kingdom Learning, we believe in enhancing your child's learning experience through exciting monthly educational excursions and incursions for all age groups. Our activities are designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning, with past excursions including trips to The Museum of At and Play, Ballarat Wildlife park, Melbourne Zoo, Sovereign Hill to explore the gold rush, and Scienceworks for hands-on science fun. These engaging experiences provide children with real-world knowledge, helping them grow and learn in a fun and dynamic environment.

"Since 2022 this child care has been part of our family, such lovely educators and well organised management. They have been and being supportive throughout my children’s early years of development."

Frequently asked questions

How does CCS Work?

CCS is a financial subsidy paid directly to approved child care services to reduce the fees families pay for care.

Your CCS amount depends on three main factors:

- Your Family’s Income

- Your Activity Level

- Type of Child Care

Subsidised hours per fortnight range from 36 to 100 hours, depending on your activity level.

– The subsidy is paid directly to the child care service and passed on to you as a fee reduction.
– You pay the gap fee (the difference between the full fee and your CCS).

Is there a minimum of days my child needs to attend?

The minimum days children are required to attend is 2 days per week, this is due to attending only one day a week can feel unfamiliar each time.

Attending two or more days each week helps children adjust with ease, build trust with their educators, and become familiar with daily routines—making drop-offs easier and transitions more seamless.

Should I apply for CCS before enrolling?

Yes, you should apply for CCS as early as possible, even before your child starts care.

Faster access to fee reductions

- CCS won’t be applied until your application is approved and your child starts care.

- Applying early means no delay in receiving the subsidy once your child begins.

Accurate budgeting

- Knowing your estimated CCS percentage helps you understand your out-of-pocket costs before enrolling.

Avoid backdating limits

- CCS can only be backdated up to 28 days from the date you apply — not from when your child starts care.

Will I pay for Public holidays and Sick days

While we understand the frustration sick days and public holidays remain payable. This is due to your child's spot still being held for that day of the week. CCS allows up to 42 absences each year, so only the gap fee remains payable.

What should I bring?

At Kids Kingdom Learning we provide:

- 5 meals throughout the whole day.

- Nappies and wipes.

- Hats and Sunscreen.

- Water bottles.

This means you’ll only need to provide a bag with spare clothes, a bottle if required, and any formula your child may still be taking.

How does Kinder Funding work?

Eligibility: Funding is available to all children enrolled in a funded kindergarten program, regardless of Australian citizenship or eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

We offer two options for the usage of your kindergarten funding to meet your families needs.

Option 1: Free 15 hours - 2 days per week of 7.5 hours. These are set days communicated with families from 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Option 2: $52.50 per week gap reduction, this credit is added to your gap fee each week before payment is processed.
